FAQ
-
Can my dog hike off leash?
Dogs may be hiked off leash if they have a valid City of Boulder Voice & Sight tag. They must demonstrate ability to do recall on hikes and show no behavioral issues towards humans and other dogs. Off leash hikes are up to our discretion.
-
What's the minimum age for dogs?
We provide hikes for puppies starting at 20 weeks old. Those hikes will be 30-45 minutes. We charge the same rate due to the extra work involved in managing puppies. Once a dog reaches 9 months old, they will start going on full two hour hikes.
-
Are vaccinations required?
Yes, all dogs must be up to date on Rabies & DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) vaccinations.
-
How long is a typical hike?
This largely depends on the age, energy levels, and temperament of your dog. Hikes can be from 30 minutes - 2 hours depending on your dog’s unique needs.
-
What forms of payment do you take?
Right now, we accept cash or Venmo. Payment is required after hike is scheduled.
-
Are the dogs kenneled during transport?
Nope! Our adventure pups ride in our personal vehicles. The interiors are designed with safety in mind. We provide doggy seatbelts for owners who prefer one for their pup.
